Contractors Liability
NIF Group can write a full range of contracting risks, from a single person artisan contractor to a large general contractor subcontracting out 100% of their work. This class has become very difficult to place depending on the state in which the contractor operates; especially in New York where third party action-over/labor law exists. NIF has several markets willing to write contracting accounts in all the states we service.
We can consider general contractors, trade contractors and specialty contractors; such as those listed below:

To provide a quote we need ACORD applications, 5 years of currently valued loss runs and a company supplement. Many insurance carriers require their own supplements. Please contact us so we can forward the correct supplement to you.
Builder’s Reporting Policy (PAY AS YOU BUILD)
(BRP) is a liability insurance form designed for residential & light commercial general contractors and developers for designated Projects (site specific developments) and Wrap-Ups. It provides separate coverage sections for Premise Operations and Completed Operations and combines the sections into a single master policy form. The coverage protects the builder for third party claims that could occur arising from the scheduled structure during the course of construction and the subsequent sales period. The builder pays only the premises premium at inception. Upon the sale of the scheduled home/unit the builder pays for the completed operation and warranty.
